Performance flame arrestors replace the restrictive bulky factory airbox making carb adjustments easier while providing a performance increase. An adapter is required to mount the new performance flame arrestor onto the carburetor. Some watercraft may require a slight adjustment to the carburetor's fuel circuits to allow for optimum performance. Check with a qualified mechanic for the proper procedures.
